Try Timpla!
June 10th, 2005 by marniejanI haven’t been travelling recently (though I went through and still going through a spiritual journey with my significant other, but let me talk about that some other time =) ) so let me share with you some restaurants I have tried the past few weeks..
A new restaurant called `Timpla´recently opened at ABS-CBN´s The Loop so my friends and I were curious to try it.. and wow we weren´t disappointed at all =) If you are into Filipino food with a twist, then Timpla is for you. The interiors are very modern Filipino; simple yet with class.
The food is great =) I highly recommend the sisig spring roll. Grabe kakaibang sisig to! Different but you wont be dissatisfied. Next time I want to try the lechon spring roll. I´m sure it´s as good as the sisig. Their chicken pork adobo is divine! Kung di lang nakakahiya na mag-order ng isa pang rice para lang ihalo yung sauce sa kanin e di ginawa ko na.. Pano naman, sauce pa lang, ulam na!
Also, I recommend the sago´t gulaman..for just P50, you get this huge glass that will last you till you finish your sumptuous meal! Sulit talaga =)
Last but not the least, the turon with vanilla ice cream is heavenly.. aside from the fact it was compliments of the restaurant owner (Lahat ng libre ay masarap =) Thanks Erwin!), it was the perfect wrap-up to a splendid lunch =)
The price? It´s reasonable for a unique yet palatable lunch or dinner =) The service is excellent too.
Over-all, I recommend to family and friends =) trust me, you won´t be disappointed..worthy of your hard earned bucks =)
